We have summer camp right now until August 7th, so that means it is educational but it's fun because we play games like math and reading games. After months of struggles, I was done being the bad parent that he hated being around. I was done talking to him about school. What I hated the most was that all this friction between us was pulling him down, making him feel unworthy. His grades were so bad that he couldn’t find a way out of the ditch he dug himself in.
